Emerald Celeste Halo Engagement Ring
A contemporary halo design engagement ring for the emerald cut diamond. Centre diamond is rubover set surrounded by a halo with claw set 1.3 mm round diamonds, on a 2.2mm flat profile band, which is also diamond set with a further diamonds. Total weight and quality of small diamonds depends on centre diamond selected. Design also lets a special profile wedding ring and eternity ring fit perfectly beside it in the future.
Designer Notes: Halo rings are great and are very popular at present. Fantastic if you haven’t got a huge budget as the setting around the stone improves the size of the ring overall. If you have, then truly special.
Gemmologists notes: The Emerald Cut shape is a classic design from the 1920's so Deco. Understated, as it doesn't create as much sparkle as the Brilliant cuts, but that's its appeal. Due to the large table facet a good clarity is required. Ratio (L/W) of 1.4 to 1.5 is ideal.
